Position Overview

Vicky Chen – State Farm Agency is seeking a licensed, bilingual, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support and manage existing client accounts. This role focuses on customer service, policy support, and relationship building, not cold calling or commission-only sales.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Mandarin or Cantonese, holds an active California Property & Casualty insurance license, and has prior experience working in an insurance agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, accurate, and professional customer service to existing clients

• Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, claims support, transfers, and coverage explanations

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive follow-up

• Educate customers on insurance options using a needs-based, customer-focused approach

• Accurately document client interactions using agency systems and CRM tools

• Support overall agency operations while maintaining confidentiality and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Active California Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license (required)

• 2+ years of insurance customer service or agency experience preferred

• Fluent in English and Mandarin or Cantonese

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable working in a structured, team-based office environment

Work Schedule & Location

• Monday–Thursday: Onsite at our agency in Chino Hills, CA

• Friday: Remote workday

• This is a primarily in-office role; candidates seeking fully remote positions will not be considered.

• Hourly base pay: $22–$26/hour (based on experience)
